  • U.S. Supreme Court reversed money laundering count in Moreno- Gonzalez v. U.S., No. 07-400 (2008).

  • U.S. vs. Barry, WL 2116426, (Not Selected for publication in the Federal Reporter), C.A.5 (Tex.), July 20, 2007 (NO. 05-20838) [upholding grant of new trial in contract fraud case];
  • U.S. vs. JW, tax fraud case, (2009) prevented indictment;
  • State vs. Smith, Cause No=s. 4226 and 4227 two Texas rape cases dismissed, (one in 2008, the other in 2009);
  • U.S. vs. Rana, Cause No. MO: 04-CR-00003, (ND Texas 2007)[Medicare fraud case sentenced to time served, seven months];
  • In re Zapata, No. 01-CR-3607-W1 [State of Texas v. Zapata, Cause No. 2001-CR-3607 in the 290th Judicial District Court, San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas] - Court of Criminal Appeals set trial court judgment aside. (October 2007) Case returned to 290th where negotiations resulted in defendant being released (January 2008).
